Mike Flaville is a patriotic, religious man who loves his family and serving his country. He joined the U.S. Army as a Fire Support Specialist in 1996 and received an Army Commendation Medal. Flaville was an Avionics Technician and Air-Crew Member for the Coast Guard until he decided to pursue his aviation career in the private sector as an Avionics Technician for the Millville Jet Center in 2005. He worked as a lead technician for Boeing in 2010 as well. Flaville’s passion is serving his country. He believes his strength is his leadership, which gives him the ability to influence people and situations in a positive fashion. The Federal Aviation Administration saw his love of helping people reach their full potential and became an Airway Transportation System Specialist (ATSS) SCC Coordinator in 2011. He developed a theoretical and practical knowledge of electronic theory as well as an understanding of math, electronics, and computer principles. Mike has held many leadership positions throughout his career and is interested in a managerial position with The Federal Aviation Administration. Flaville’s passion for aviation led him to the Civil Air Patrol U.S. Air Force Auxiliary in 2016. Flaville’s career track is Inspector General, but wants to become Squadron Finance Officer and Emergency Services Officer. He is currently taking classes provided by the Civil Air Patrol to help him achieve these goals.
Flaville is on track to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a Masters of Business Intelligence (MBI) from Grantham University next October. He spends his free time volunteering, participating in outdoor activities, playing or watching sports with his son, and spending quality time with his dog. Flaville spends time volunteering at his church, the SPCA, the Civil Air Patrol Air Force Auxiliary, and was even a volunteer firefighter for several years. He supports firemen, police, and EMS through charity events and is an involved member of AMvets, American Legion, and VFW.
